Kuwait will not show a film with an Israel actress in its country
(Islamabad Jobs Pakistan Newspaper Latest 12 May 2024)
Kuwait
has banned the screening of Israeli actress Gal Gadot's new film in the
country.According to reports from international news websites, Death in the
Nile is a mystery thriller starring Israeli actress Gal Gadot. Mail Agah is
based on the novel of the same name by Qureshi and is directed by Kenneth
bernag, who also co-stars in the film. I will not be released.
It
has been reported that the Kuwaiti Ministry of Information made the decision
following calls on social media to ban the film, which was criticized by Gol
Gadwoot for praising and supporting the Israeli army in the context of the 2014
food war. At the time, Gilgate wrote on Facebook, along with a photo of her and
her daughter praying, "I am sending my love and prayers to my fellow
Israeli citizens." Especially to all the boys and girls who are risking
their lives to protect my country from the horrific acts of Hamas who are
hiding like cowards behind women and children.
It should be noted that this is not the first time that a film starring Gal Gadot has been banned due to its political stance, as Gol has openly expressed support for the Israeli military and himself served two years in the army. In 2017, her blockbuster superhero film Window Woman created a controversy in the Middle East, with Window Woman banned in Qatar and Lebanon, and Tamannaah also being pulled.
