Another
embarrassing day for Pakistan cricket. Ireland won the first match of the
series. In the first match, Pakistan was invited to bat first by winning the
Ireland toss. Pakistan's first wicket Mohammad Rizwan was run out after scoring
one, followed by Saeem Ayub who scored 45 runs off 29 balls, Babar Azam scored
57 runs, Fakhar Zaman scored 20 runs and no scored Azam Khan and Shadab Khan.
Iftikhar Ahmed was not out for 37 runs and Shaheen Afridi was not out for 14
runs. For Ireland, Mark Attir and Gareth Dale took one wicket each while Craig
Young took two wickets.
In
pursuit of Pakistan's target, Ireland's Paul Stirling 8, Lahore Khan Tucker
Char Hari Tractor 36, George Doctoral 24 runs, opener Ane Wale Bell for the
aggressive Khel was dismissed for 77. On behalf of Pakistan, Abbas Afridi
dismissed two players while Shaheen Shah Afridi, Naseem Shah and Shadab Khan
dismissed one player each.
The
Pakistan squad consists of Babar Azam, Captain Muhammad Rizwan, Wicketkeeper,
Fakhar Zaman, Shadab Khan, Azam Khan, Iftikhar Ahmed, Imad, Wasim, Shaheen Shah
Afridi, Naseem Shah Abbas Afridi, while in the Ireland squad, Ball Stirling,
Captain, Mark Iyer, Andrew Balburnie, Characters, Kaempfer, Gareth Day, George
Dockrell. Barry McCarthy and Harrier Tractor Local Tucker Wicket Keeper and Ben
White Cricket Young are included.
