Contempt of court notices issued to I.B FIA PTA chiefs in Audio Lake case

Audio Lake case DG IB, DG FIA please issue contempt of court notices to Chairman PTA why contempt of court proceedings should not be initiated against the heads of the three institutions. According to the media, Justice Babar Sattar of the Islamabad High Court issued a 40-page letter on all four objection petitions against the judge in the Audio Lake case, Requests to object to the hearing of the case are malicious.

Contempt notices have been issued to DG FIA and Chairman PTA to satisfy them as to why contempt proceedings should not be initiated against the heads of the three institutions.

IB, DG FIA and PTA were fined 5,5 lakhs for filing the application. IB,FIA and PTA filed an application under a scheme together. The three organizations tried to pressurize the judge through applications. The government has been incompetent in providing the fundamental rights enshrined in the constitution.

In the Audio Leaks case, IB, FIA, PTA had filed a cross-petition to withdraw his Application. Justice Babar Sattar had remarked during the hearing that if the executive threatens the judges and they commit contempt of court, how will it be a conflict of interest.

Should the court stop hearing the IB and FIA cases, The IB,PTA FIA had objected to Justice Babar Sattar and had filed petitions for separation from Audio Lake case.
